It is with a very heavy heart that I write these few words in the memory of the great Bob Anderson who sadly passed away on this New Years day.
I could never claim to be a close friend of Bobs, just a guy who was lucky enough to meet him a few times and be privileged to listen to some of his memories about his amazing life, a life which most of us could only aspire to glimpse and to achieve a fragment of Bob’s rich and seemingly endless talent would be a very fine thing indeed.
What I do know is that the world is a far sadder place without him, and Bob will be dearly missed by everybody and anybody who has been fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of the extraordinary shining star, that was Bob Anderson.
In a small tribute to the great man I’m re-printing my original visit to Bob, I hope you take five minutes to read it and realise the true magnitude of what this great man achieved.
